About me: my education, career and the road to entrepreneurship
A boy from Mawana, an engineering and MBA degree, ten years in sales and business, and a company started with my childhood friend.
My name is Nosheb Danish. I grew up in Mawana, a small town near Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Today I run Keyzone Software Pvt Ltd from the same town.
I studied B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and then did my MBA, both from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Engineering taught me how systems work. The MBA taught me how businesses work. I did not know then that one day I would need both, together.
For the next ten years I worked in sales, business development and business. Sales is the best school I ever attended. It taught me to listen to customers, to understand their real problems, and to hear “no” without giving up.
The turning point came when I worked in an EMI locker company. An EMI locker is software that helps mobile retailers sell phones on instalments safely. I saw how this industry works from the inside. Most EMI locker companies do not build everything themselves. They work with developers and software companies, and customise the locker to fit their own needs.
That is when I saw the opportunity. If companies need customised software, someone has to build it well. Why not us?
So I started Keyzone Software with my childhood friend, Shoib Alam. We grew up together in Mawana, and now we build together. We started by white-labelling, which means taking a working product and offering it under a client’s own brand. Step by step we built our own team. Today we have our own white-label EMI Locker, we provide white-label solutions to clients, and we build SaaS products and custom software and apps.
One more thing surprises people. Even with an engineering degree, I am not a coder. My strength is understanding customers and business. To understand the technology side deeply, I use AI as my teacher. It explains every part of our products to me until it is clear. That is why I started my AI University on this website.
My dream is to make Keyzone the best software company in AI and SaaS, built from a small town. This website is my open notebook. I will share what I learn, what works and what fails, so you can walk your own path a little faster.
